Dongfeng Cummins engine co.,Lid was established in June,1996 by primary Dongfeng Auto Company and America Cummins in fifty and fifty percent joint venture. In February 2003,through increasing capital and expanding stock, Dongfeng Cummins Engine Compay becomes a new joint venture company complete with capital and management, which is financed by Dongfeng Auto Co.,Ltd Diesel Engine Branch, Cummins (Xiangfan) Mechanical machining company financed by the primary Cummins company, and Dongfeng and Cummins C series Engines. The expanded Dongfeng Cummins Engine co.,Ltd has registered capital over 100 million US dollars. Dongfeng Auto stock co.,Ltd and Cummins Company separately own 50% share.
Dongfeng Cummins is supported by the global producing system of Cummins in many fields, such as the development of product, the manufacture, the quality, and the management field and so on. In the meantime, the export products manufactured by the Joint-venture companies are also supported by the Cummins’s global after-sale service network.
At present, the main products of our company are B and C series engines (mechanical fuel system) whose displacements are 3.9litre (60-140HP), 5.9litre (160-230HP) and 8.3litre (220-325HP), which could meet the law rule for displacement of 1 to 2 model autos and the first stage standard for the non-road mechanical equipments in Europe. Meanwhile, we will start producing the Cummins B,C and L series electronic control engines from 3.9litre to 9litre in the near future, ranging from 100HP to 450HP,which could meet the displacement standard of Europe No.3 and No.4 autos, as well as the first and the third stage displacement standard for the Europe and America non-road mechanical equipments. Finally our products will fall in with the Europe and America markets in technology.
Chongqing Cummins engine Co.,Lid is Joint-stock enterprise with America Cummins, who mainly manufactures the world advanced level NH,K,M11 series high-speed and high-power diesel engines, diesel generating sets and boat power sets, ranging from 145 to 1343kw.These products are universally used heavy duty cars, passenger cars, engineering machines, oil machines, GENERATOR SET, vessel and railway vehicles and so on power fields. The features of the products are universally popular by the customer home and oversea, such as the economic, power character, high reliability, high durability and environmental safety and so on.
In recent years, in order to meet the continuous high-speed development demand of the market, we have already developed the following new products, such as the special type engines in highland; M11 series engines according with Europe displacement law for No.1, No.2, No.3 autos; NT-3 series environmental type auto engines according with the law of Europe No.2; NT-3 series industrial engines according to the Tier2 industry displacement law; new intelligent GENERATOR SET, all of which are accepted by the users.
